Fanshawe College Women Edged Out Lambton Ladies in Home Opener

Lambton College Ladies took a disappointing 58 - 56 loss against the Fanshawe Falcons on Wednesday night in their home opener.

 

The Lady Lions were leading 34-22 at the half but the Falcons battled back for the win.

 

Top shooter for Lambton was #14 Riley Williams scoring 7 points in the first half and 10 in the second for a total of 17 points that included two three point baskets.  Melissa Ellis scored 10 points and Paige Johnston and Christine Fleischer each scored 8. 

Top point scorers for Fanshawe were Natalie Warren with 12 points and Stephanie Antwi with 10.
 

The Ladies are now 0 - 3 for the season.
 

The Lambton teams are back in action on Sunday November 9 when they host Humber College.  Women's game is set to begin at 1:00 pm and the Men at 3:00 pm.
