Lady Sting Bantam C Champions at SSM Ice Breaker Tournament

The Sarnia Lady Sting traveled to Sault Ste Marie over the weekend and brought home the Championship Title at the 18th Annual Sault Ice Breaker Tournament.

In round robin action the Lady Sting went 2-1. In their first game they lost to the Sault Peewee BB team with a final score of 2 - 1 and went on and defeated Sault Direct Mechanical 4-1 and Sault Canadian Tire 2-0.

In semi final the Lady Sting defeated Marquette M Bank 2 - 1 and were tied for second place in the standings. Due to tie breaking rules they were given a berth in the final where they went up against the undefeated Sault Peewee BB team and came away with a 2 - 0 shut out win to bring home the Bantam C title.
