St. Patrick's Defeated Ursuline College in SWOSSAA Soccer Semi Final

St. Patrick's defeated Chatham's Ursuline Lancers 1 - 0 to move on to the SWOSSAA final.  The only goal of the game came fifteen minutes on a penalty kick scored by  Richael O'Neill.

"The play started from the back and we moved the ball well." O'Neill describe after the game "I found Daniel Bucci going through the middle and he got fouled, I then buried the penalty."


Mitchell Humby

Both goalies played extremely well with Mitchell Humby earning the shut out in net for St Pat's.  Tyler Torrieri who made several key saves for Ursuline suffered the loss.

"He [Tyler Torrieri] played great and made the saves he had to, he only gave up the penalty, no fault to him." O'Neill said of the opponents keeper.

St. Pat's now moves on to the SWOSSAA-AAAA final that will be played in Sarnia next Wednesday against Windsor.  Time and location to be announced.
