The Sarnia FC U12 Boys Premier team travelled to Canton, Michigan to participate in their first tournament of the season - "The Canton Cup".  This is one of the largest tournaments in the eastern states which attracts over 650 teams! Sarnia FC would be placed in the Green Division and would face the Michigan Revolution in their first match. They would start the game slowly and find themselves down by 3 at the half. The second half would prove to be a better performance however to little to late as they would drop their opening game 6 - 3.

Sarnia FC's second game would place them against the Michigan Tigers. The boys from Canada would dominate this game from the opening whistle as they would demonstrate excellent 'team play' enroute to an easy 6 - 1 win.

Their "Final Game" of the tournament would take place on Sunday morning under a beautiful 'Blue Sky"!  Sarnia would face "Michigan TNT West". Once again, the boys would come out of the gate in high fashion scoring 3 goals in the first two minutes of action! With continued pressure Sarnia would press deep in the Michigan zone and dominate possession. Sarnia fans would witness a great display of skill, passing and ball control as their team would close out the game with a 15 - 0 drubbing of their American neighbors!

GREAT overall performance by all team members:  Alex Newall, Dean Palimaka, Cameron Hoek, Christian D'Agostini, James Brown, Nathan Hawkes, Tristen Konrad, Dominic Krasinkiewicz, Michael Howe, Mateo Troiani and keeper Andrew Harron!!

Coaches and parents were 'very' proud of the boys with their dominance on the Pitch. Canadian soccer was made proud!

Sarnia FC's next league game is Tuesday, May 27th vs. London Croatia!!
