In semi final action in Girls Soccer Northern defeated NLSS 6 - 1.  Shae-Lynn van Gassen led Northern with 4 goals, Zena Abdulwahab scored 2 and Katrina Barnard and Melissa Bennett each scored singles.  Scoring for NLSS was Sarah O'Hagan.

 

In other semi final action St. Pat's defeated St. Clair 2 - 1.  The game was decided in a shoot out after the game was tied 1 - 1 after overtime half.

 

In the Boys Semi final soccer Northern took a 2 - 1 win over St. Clair.  Dylan Wardell and Marcus Dusseaul scored for the Vikings.  In the second semi final  St. Pat's defeated NLSS 5 - 0.

 

The Soccer finals are set for Thursday at Norm Perry, time to be determined.  In both finals it will be Northern taking on St. Pat's.

 

For the girls division St. Pat's led in the standings race with 4 wins and 1 OTW.  Northern was in second going 3 - 0 with their only loss against St. Pat's in overtime.

 

 

For the boys Northern was the number one team with 4 wins 1 loss and 1 OTL.  St. Pat's was second with 3 wins, 2 OTW and 1 loss.

In regular league action the two teams met three times with St. Pat's going 2-1 against Northern.

 

In other sports:

Rugby - SCITS defeated St. Clair 12 - 5.  Colton Osborn scored 2 tries and Alec Segers added a convert.

 

Boys Baseball - LCCVI defeated NLSS 6 - 5, Northern defeated SCITS 15 - 0.
