Point Edward Pacers Suffer Loss Saturday

The Point Edward Pacers suffered a 12 - 8 loss against the Niagara Thunderhawks in Ontario Jr. B Lacrosse action in Point Edward on Saturday night.


After the first period both sides were even at 3 apiece.  Niagara jumped to 9 - 6 after two periods of play and finished the third outscoring the Pacers 3 - 2.

Scoring for Point Edward were Alex Mayhead with 2 and singles by Dan Charlton, Cody Ross, Keven Conroy, Blair McFarlane, Blain Adams and Connor Smith.

Niagara outshot Point Edward 64 - 35. AP netminder Brayden Bell took the loss turning away 52 shots.

The Pacers are now 1 - 5 and in the bottom of the Far West Division.  They are on the road Wednesday May 21, when they face the 1st place Windsor Clippers (6 - 1)  for the second time this season. Next home game is on Saturtday May 24th when they host Guelph.
