Jim CreasorJim Creasor had a super day in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past weekend as he tossed 804 (279-246-279) in the Men’s Doubles Handicap Tournament at Marcin Bowl to record his career 13th 800 plus series.Roy Mezzatesta

 His doubles partner, Roy Mezzatesta, also had a great tournament as he fired 750 (279-238-233). Their combined scratch total was 1554 which was 13 pins shy of tying the Canadian Tenpin Federation men’s doubles record. Thirty four  men’s teams were in competition with the winners being Ist - Jim Creasor/Roy Mezzatesta 1617, 2nd - Tyler Robertson/Corey Lefebvre 1595 and 3rd -  Larry Plumb/ George Reid 1572. Additional high scores were George Reid 746 (278-244), Roy Mezzatesta 737 (245-258), Dennis Ramsay 733 (254-257), Steve Lewicki 713 (255-245), Kevin McMillan 709 (248-279), Jason Lapointe 699 (277), Jim Lapointe 697 (254-268), Brian Watson 689 (257), Larry Plumb 685 (246), Corey Willemsen 263, Jim Lapointe 256, Mike Shephard 253, Jeff Raymond 248, Ralph MacDuff 247 and Bill Best 242.

Eighteen women’s teams took part in the tournament. The winning score of 1568 belonged to Sharon Townes and Carrie Wood. Second place went to Diane Ross and Sharon Scott with1544.

Dawn PelkieDawn Pelkie bowled 691 (219-246-226) in the Marcin Wednesday Night Ladies League to record the women’s high triple for the second consecutive week.

Jordan Croskery tossed 763 (279-299 - unrelenting 10 pin) in Marcin SMAA Youth Senior/Intermediate action. The gents’ other scores were Brian Riberdy 495 (200), Matt Disper 484 (175) and Colin Hanley 467 (198). The ladies’ top scores were Kira Pelkie 537 (189), Nicole Emery 428 and Rachel McGrath 198.
