Skate Canada announced on Tuesday the formation of new pairs team Sarnia Native Michael Marinaro 22 and Kirsten Moore-Towers, 21 of St. Catharines, On. The Pair will begin competing together for the 2014-2015 season.
Previously Marinaro competed with Margaret Purdy, 19, of Strathroy and together they competed Nationally and Internationally and were the 2013 World Junior Silver Medalist. Purdy will be attending University in September. Moore-Towers former partner was Dylan Moscovitch, 29, of Toronto who decided to retire after the pair earned silver at the 2014 Olympics.
Moore-Towers and Marinaro will be training at the Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club with coaches Kris Wirtz and Kristy Sargeant-Wirtz.
