
On the road last weekend the Beavers split a pair of games.
On Saturday in their first game the Beavers lost 10 - 5 to the league leaders Ennismore James Gang (12-1-0). Scoring for the Beavers were Colin McDowall with 3, Kyle Childerhose and Kyle O'Donnell each scored 1.
In the second game the Beavers defeated the Brooklin Merchants 11 - 9. The Merchants has yet to win a game this season. (0 - 12- 0)
Leading the way in scoring was team leader Colin McDowall who now has 37 goals for the season and is ranked 3rd in points (37-13) in the league. McDowall is looking to hit the 50 goal mark with 4 games remaining. Chris Davey scored 2 and singles by Clint Lamarsh, Lance Ross, Winter Dockstater, Michael Fleming and Jim Purves.
Tye Belanger went 1 - 1 in net on the weekend.
The Beavers are now in 5th spot with a record of 4 wins, 8 losses. They are back at home this weekend with their first game on Saturday at 7:00 pm against the Oakville Titans. (4-7) The Titans are tied with the Beavers with one game back. On Sunday the Beavers host Six Nations Rivermen (8-2) at 4:00 pm. Both games are played at Clearwater arena.
