Western Counties Bantam Baseball Take 3 our of 4 games over the Weekend

The Western Counties Wolverines were in action on the Weekend playing 2 back to back double headers.
On Saturday the team was at Fergie Jenkins Diamond against the Tecumbseh Minor Bantams.
In the first game Western Counties took a 10 -3 win. Evan Rogers pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed 3 runs (1ER), 5BB, 3 strikeouts, 3 hits. Kyle Blunt played 3 1/3 innings allowing 0 runs, 3 strikesouts and 1 hit.
The team had a total of 10 hits:
Grant Spence -2B, 1B, walk 2RBIs
Connor Goldsmith 1B, 2B, 2RBIs
Jacob Breault 2 singles, 1RBI
Evan Rogers, Derek Smith 1 single and 1 RBI each
The Wolverines took the second game in the double header with a final score of 8 - 4. Drew Pepper pitched 4 innings allowing 3 runs, 1 hit, 2BB and 4 strikeouts. Jakeb Taylor closed pittching 3 innings allowing 1 run, 3 hits, 3 strikeouts and 1BB.
The team had a total of 9 hits in this game with:

On Sunday June 1st Western Counties hosted Walker Homesites Major Bantams at Courtright Park.
In the first game of the day The Wolverines edged out Homesites 3 - 2. Spencer Marcus went 6 innings striking out 9, allowing 4 hits, 2 runs on errors and 1BB. Connor Goldsmith went in for the final inning striking out 3.

In the final game of the weekend the team suffered their only loss 5 - 1. Derek Smith was on the mound pitching 5 innings striking out 5 and allowing 3 hits, 5BB, 3ER. Connor Goldsmith finished the game allowing 0 hits, 1BB and striking out 1.
