The Point Edward Pacers Jr B Lacrosse team celebrated a win on Sunday defeating the London Blue Devils 11 - 9.

London took a 4 - 3 lead after the first period and in the second both sides scored 4.  In the third Point Edward pulled ahead and won the period 4 - 1.

 

Scoring for Point Edward were Blain Adams, Alex Mayhead, Corry Burr and Jack Dunn each with 2 goals apiece.  Blair McFarlane, Ryan Devine and Trevor Hiseler each scored 1.  Assisting on goals were Ryan Devine (3), Alex Mayhead (2), and Blair McFarlane, Cory Burr, Jack Dunn, Trevor Hiseler, Kevin Durco, Josh Barraclough and netminder Brayden Bell.

 

Greg Morrisette led the Blue Devils scoring 4 goals, Mike Rybka scored 2 and singles by Brady Doxtator, Kris Sanders and Andrew Hilteroch.

 

London outshot Point Edward 39 - 22 and scored 5 goals on 10 power play opportunities.  Point Edward scored 2 power play goals on 9 opportunities.

The Pacers are now 2-15 for the season and have three games remaining in the regular season.  On Wed June 18 the Pacers travel to Windsor then back at home on Sat June 21 for their last home game then on Sun June 22 they are in Orangeville.
