The Sarnia FC U12 Boys headed to Scarborough to compete in their second tournament of the season - "The Robbie". The Robbie is one of Toronto's largest soccer tournaments attracting teams from all over North America. This tournament would play out in a festival format allowing Sarnia 3 games guaranteed.

Sarnia FC's first competition of the day would find them facing the "Cherry Beach Wolves". The boys from Lambton County would dominate possession and continuously pressure the wolves in their own end. Their determination would be rewarded as they would win the game 2 - 1. Both goals coming from Striker Ryan Janssens.

Whitby Iroquois would be the next challenge of the day for Sarnia FC. Once again the boys came to play and would control the game from the very start. They showed tremendous passing skill and patience moving the ball around the pitch with ease. Sarnia's back four would play stellar allowing minimal changes on goal. Their efforts would be rewarded a second time as they would come out on top at the final whistle.

Final Score:   Sarnia FC 4  -  Whitby Iroquois Yellow  1.  Sarnia goal scorers: Nathan Hawkes(2), Ryan Janssens and James Brown!

A few hours later Sarnia would compete in their third game  against the West Rouge Storm. By this time, the afternoon heat had reached 30 degrees Celsius. The boys would however come out of the gate very aggressively enroute to an early 2 - 0 lead. Mid-fielder Dominic Krasinkiewicz would start the scoring on a nice header. James Brown would up the lead by two on a nice scoring play.  West Rouge would counter just befor the half to come within one.

In the second half, the boys from Sarnia would lose their legs and quickly found themselves playing catch up!  West Rouge would score 4 consecutive goals enroute to a 5 - 2 victory.

Overall, another successful tournament for the Sarnia FC U12 Premier team.  Coaches and parents were very pleased with the performance and effort in Toronto. Well done boys!
