In Sunday’s game between the Sarnia Sting and Oshawa Generals, Nikolay Goldobin took a match penalty for slew-footing after taking the feet out from under rookie defenceman Mitchell Vande Sompel with less than five minutes to play. The league handed Goldobin a one game suspension because of the incident.
