Sarnia Silver Stick Honours Volunteers at Opening Ceremonies

The Official Opening of the 45th Annual Atom and Midget Silver Stick Tournament was held as part of the pre-game ceremonies at the Sarnia Sting game Friday night at the RBC Centre. 

Representatives from participating teams along with Silver Stick Executive were on hand at the Ceremonies.  The highlight of the Opening Ceremony was a special presentation to Bill and Kathy Graham for their long term service to Silver Stick. 

 

Special guests making the presentation included Walter Gretzky, Mayor Mike Bradley and via video a special message by Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield. 

 

Silver Stick Tournament continues today (Saturday) and winds up on Sunday.
