Bowling scores for week of Feb 22, 2014

 

Drew Bestard, Cori Landon, Corey Willemsen and Larry Plumb tossed high scores in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling activity this week at Marcin Bowl.

 

Left hander bowler Bestard rolled 780 (234-278-268) on lanes 15 & 16 in the Border City Men’s League.

Landon fired 715 (225-212-278 - 92 pins over average) on lanes 25 & 26 in the Wednesday Night Ladies League.
       

Corey Willemsen recorded the high single with his career first perfect game in the Monday Night Men’s League. He was bowling in his second game on lanes 27 & 28 finishing the night with a 760 (245-300) triple.

Larry Plumb wheeled 299 (uncooperative 4 pin) on lanes 31 & 32 in his first game in the Thursday Night Men’s League. It was the 2nd time in three weeks that the 4 pin robbed him of rolling perfect games.

In the Marcin SMAA Youth Senior/Intermediate division, the ladies’ noted scores were Rachel McGrath 597 (212-214), Kira Pelkie 555 (218) and Nicole Emery 491 (182). The gents’ high bowlers were Jordan Croskery 618 (235), Matt Disper 525 (205) and Brian Riberdy 488 (177).

In the Marcin SMAA Junior division, the girls’ top rollers were Morgan Pelkie 532 (198-186), Cara Cullis 410 (158) and Mikayla Durley 400 (146). The boys’ were led by Branden Riberdy 431 (160), Manny Ramos 403 (144), Lucas Pawley 399 (170), Grant Remes 149 and Zachary Deuning 122.

In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girls’ upper scores were Caprice Hill 392 (135), Hollie-Anne Jean 378 (145) and Skylar Thompson 309 (122). The boys’ notable scores were Ethan Boucher 465 (160), Jacob Bestard 454 (174), Ryan Kameka 392 (150) and Ryan Pinel 151.

In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, top scores were Noah Leclair 311 (132-105 - 150 pins over average for three games), Jordan Button 277 (116), Braeden Scott 271 (102), Noah Gauthier 220 (76) and Mya Hanley 218 (79).

In the Marcin SMAA Bumpers division, the best scores were Brody Manley 164 (90), Cameron Winter 145 (76) and Olivia Quaid 130 (72).

In the Hi-Way Youth Senior/Intermediate division, the ladies’ main scores were Cassandra Tremblay 452 (176) and Taelor Koundakjian 450 (203 - 78 pins over average). The gents’ noted scores were Alex Pak 551 (190), Connor Smith 457, Colton Smith 439 (163), Aiden Coleman 435 (147-146) and Brett Zevenbergen 431.
