Before the championship game the 2013-14 Micor Source for Sports Award Winners were announced.   The recipients are chosen based on their three criteria: 

• Hockey ability & Team contribution

• High academic achievement

• Sportsmanship & Fair play

Earning this seasons award were Zach Lewis (Northern) Brent Blais (St. Patrick's), Jared Sanders (NLSS), Aiden Chapdelaine (SCITS) and Hunter Bryce (LCCVI)

Each player was presented with a plaque courtesy of Micor Source for Sports and their names will be engraved on the Micor Source for Sports Award plaque that is showcased at the Clearwater Arena.
