Sarnia Lady Sting Midget A Leads Series

Wednesday February 19, 2014

Sarnia Lady Sting travelled to Chatham to play the second game of Provincial Playdowns after tying the first game 0 - 0 in Sarnia.

Chatham took the early lead on the power play to make it 1 - 0 after the first period.

The Lady Sting responded in the 2nd period with a goal from their captain Naomi Parsons.  It looked like another tie was in the Stings future, until Parson's notched her second of the game with under a minute to go. Madison Findlayter and Jessica O'Leary-Dilosa assisted on the goal.  Finlayter secured the win with an empty net goal for the Lady Sting. O'Leary-Dilosa earned her second point with the assist on the final goal.

The Lady Sting lead the 4 point series 3 - 1 with the final game to be played on Sunday February 23 at the RBC Centre with a puck drop at 6:30 pm.
