The Sarnia Legionnaires will be hosting their annual Hockey Day in Sarnia on Saturday February 8th.
All Sarnia Minor Hockey players (Boys & Girls) from Lambton County are invited to attend the Legionnaires game on Saturday. By wearing some form of hockey attire, (jerseys, jackets etc) players will be admitted in free to Saturday's game.
As part of the events, several Legionnaires players will act as honorary coaches for Novice and Atom games that are being played at Clearwater and Germain Arenas.
"I'm sure the Legionnaires will be competitive against each other" laughed Jim Drexler "They have a good time and enjoy it. They love working in the community and there's never a questions asked by them when they are asked to volunteer. They are fantastic in that regard."
The Legionnaires are host to Leamington on Saturday at the Sarnia arena with a puck drop at 7:10.
After the game, fans are invited to stay and skate with the Legionnaires.
