Legionnaires Lose Two of their Own

Sarniasports.com has learned that two Sarnia Legionnaires players, Forward Riley Roberts and Defenceman Brad Campbell have quit the Legionnaires and are now playing in the USA for the Colorado Jr. Eagles of the WSHL League.

The pair have joined Corunna native and former player of the Mooretown Flags MacGreggor Haddon.

In an unconfirmed report Roberts and Campbell quit after the game on Thursday December 11 and played for Colorado on Friday Dec 12 in the 5 - 3 win against the Colorado Roughriders.

Roberts played 28 games for the Legionnaires scoring of 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points. Campbell also played 28 games scoring 9 goals and 5 assists for a total of 14 points.

The Eagles are in 5th spot in the Mountain Division with a record of 11-6-4-0.
