On Wednesday the Sarnia Saints Rugby U18 boys will host Guelph at Northern High School beginning at 7:00 pm. 

 

"Big game Wednesday night for our U-18 boys."Head Coach Andrew Harpell said. "Right now we are tied for 3rd but with a win and a bonus point there is a possibility of taking 1st overall in the NRU."

 

On Saturday August 16th first place could be decided in the Women's division when they will host St. Catharines beginning at noon at Norm Perry Park.  Following the game the men's will host Peterborough for a double header.

 

On Saturday August 23rd the Saints Rugby Club is hosting Canada and USA U20 Women's teams at 7:00 pm at Norm Perry Park.  This game is a part of the 2014 CanAm Women's U20 Series. The CanAm is one of the premier events for Canadian women's team identification, development and a chance to compete internationally against Canada's top rivals.  Canada and USA will play two games the first in London on August 20 and the second in Sarnia.  Admission to the game is $5.00.

World News
Canada Senior Women faces France today (Wed) at the Women's World Cup held in France.  The Canadians are undefeated with a record of 2-0-1 with wins over Spain (31-5) and Samoa (42-7) and a 13-13 tie against England.

 

The semi-final game will be broadcast live on TSN at 2:30 ET.
