Croskery and Reid Record Honour Scores in 10-Pin Action

Jordan Croskery and George Reid recorded honour scores in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week.


Jordan Croskery

             Twenty-two year old Croskery fired 808 (241-300-267) in the Target Trios Mixed League at Hi-Way Bowl. He was bowling on lanes 11 & 12 tossing his career 1st sanctioned perfect game and 2nd 800 series. The vast majority of bowlers never experience the thrill of bowling an 800 series which is an extremely difficult achievement but Croskery has recorded two in the last two weeks. He had 20 consecutive strikes in route to recording his honour scores. Croskery’s highest triple is 826.
 


George Reid

                Reid tossed his career 6th perfect game in the Monday Night Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. He achieved his gem in his first game of the night on lanes 35 & 36 ending the evening with the top triple of 726. The smooth talented right handed bowler also has two 800 series in his pocket, the highest being 819 bowled at Marcin Bowl.

                Pam Marciniszyn bowled 719 (268-247) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to record the ladies high triple.                

Dan Chopp rolled 769 (258-279-232) in Marcin Border City Men’s League competition. He was followed by Drew Bestard 746 (258-279), Carmen Bressette 734 (265 - 99 pins over average-234-235 and 236 pins over average for three games), Dean Troiani 706 (258-237), Rob Vandermeer 704 (256-255), Roy Mezzatesta 692 (256), Brandon Gauthier 680 (245), Paul Mezzatesta 680 (243-229), Stephane Sirois 676 (255-268), Dustin Churley 660 (233), Mel Kongus 257, Brett Matthews 245, Franco Gabriele 243, Bill Cole 240, Will Barnes 238, Dan Vandermeer 236, Kevin Storozuk 235, Jeff Vandervies 235, Zyg Mazgaj 235 and Kevin McMillan 234. In Marcin Sarnia Reserve Mixed League fun, the women’s main scores were Connie Milliken 482 (182), Julie Young 480 (187), Kathy Watters 450 (171) and Jo Ellen Beveridge 192. The men’s notable scores were Wilson Plain 671 (217-263 - 85 pins over average), Greg Gray 562 (217), Darren Adams 557 (202) and Bill Smith 195.
