Toros and Mammoths Recorded Wins in SMAA Bantam Monday Night Football

The Mechanical Contractor's Association Toros continued their undefeated season with a 37-6 victory over the Sarnia Police Association Tiger Sharks. Noah McLean capped a 7 minute opening drive for the Toros with a 1 yard run. Matthew Dunn's convert increased the lead to 8-0. The Sharks replied with a drive of their own that ended when Tim Graham threw an 8 yard pass to Mason Hyde. MacLean scored his second touchdown on a 27 yard run and Dunn's convert increased the Toro lead to 18-6. On the last play of the first half, Josh Clubb scampered for 40 yards to the endzone as the Toros began to pull away. Clubb scored 2 more majors in the second half to round out the scoring.
In the nightcap the Mammoet Crane Incorporated Mammoths were victorious 28-0 over the Sylvan Learning Centre Bears. The Mammoths took the opening kick-off and struck early on a nifty 43 yard touchdown pass from Cody Lyon to Travis Conrad. Cole Morrison added to the Mammoth lead with a 42 yard touchdown scamper and Jake Williams scored the final major for the Mammoths in the first half as he rumbled to the end zone from 24 yards out. Garrett Patterson converted 2 of the majors. The only scoring of the second half was a 97 yard touchdown gallop by Morrison.
