The Lambton Lions Men's & Women Varsity Basketball teams hosted Redeemer University Friday at Lambton.
The Women are now 0 - 3 after coming up short on Friday night taking a 75 - 56 loss against Redeemer.
Riley Williams from Sarnia was the top point scorer for the home side with 25 points. Brittany Lewis (Sarnia) shot for thirteen 13 points and Sam Kaldeway (Sarnia) and Jamie Kolkman (Delaware) both shot 6 points.
The Women are back in action at home today (Nov 2) when they host Mohawk College at 2:00 pm.
The Lambton Men won their first game of the season after defeating Redeemer 75 - 64. Shawn Hill (Brantford) was the top point scorer with a total of 26. Jon Ravenhorst (Sarnia) earned 13, Mike Lucier (Forest) 10 and Justin Zonneville (Sarnia) 9.
The men are now 1 - 2 and look to even their record today with a win at home against Mohawk. Game time 4:00 pm.
