Dan Chopp is King of the Lanes with 791 Triple

Dan Chopp (pictured left) had an admirable night at Marcin Bowl as he fired 791 (246-278-267) to record the high triple in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week. He tossed his great series on lanes 17 & 18 in the Border City Men’s League.

The women’s high triple was shared by Cori Landon and Janice McMillan. Landon bowled 668 (236-258) in the Marcin Sunday Night Mixed League. McMillan recorded 668 (246-235) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League.

Mike Marciniszyn (pictured right) fired 772 (269-269) on lanes 23 & 24 in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League competition. He was pursued by Shane Chipman 740 (290), Louie Willemsen 729 (279-279), Stephane Sirois 722 (268), Jordan Cote 686 (268), Dennis Ramsay 683 (258), Ron Gagnon 682 (248-247), Larry Plumb 678 (247-257), Doug Black 676, Brian Watson 663, Kyle Skinner 266, Nathan Gonzalez 265, Dan Beauvais 247, Glenn Crowe 247, Butch Wilson 246 and Paul Scott 243. Neil Sinclair wheeled 713 (225-275) in Hi-Way Bowl Target Trio League activity. Dan Beauvais had 646 (264). The ladies’ noted scores were Dara Sinclair 667 (209-266) and Tonie Verbeek 529 (191).

Larry Plumb hurled 704 (254) in Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League flurry. He was chased by Brian Watson 697 (268), Carl Best 686 (254), Bill Best 668 (238), Bill Cole 642 (235), Bob Elie 636 (237), Jean Lacroix Jr. 248 and Al Scott 239. Team standings are Morlo Yardscapes 179, Hiawatha Horse Park 173, Lambton Climate Care 148, Tomlinson Enterprises 143, Canadian National ATM 143, Marcin Bowl 141, Top Coat Painting 137, Billie Boxes 137 and D & D Flooring Installations 122.

Morgan Pelkie tossed 635 (230-230) in the Marcin SMAA Youth Juniors division. Other girls’ scores were Mikayla Durley 412 (154), Cara Cullis 385 (142), Madison Kehler 361 (146) and Gillian Webb 358 (168). The boys’ top scores were Joshua Trott 504 (180), Branden Riberdy 446 (192), Aiden Osbourne 425 (154) and Manny Ramos 390 (159).

In Marcin Bluewater Men’s League combat, dominant scores were Jim Creasor 699 (257-257), Mark McCarthy 682 (234-235), Pete Dufault 616 (221), Brad Geerts 613, John Romlewski 607, Jeff Chortos 254, Jim Amlin 233, Bill Best 231 and  Connor Smith 223. Team standings are Prestige Limousines 120, Napa Auto 114, Northgate Home Hardware 102, ODS Printing 102, Jerry’s TV 99 and Ligate Signs 94.

Additional ladies’ scores from the Marcin Sunday Mixed League were Kathy Dafoe 446 (179) and Jamie Brander 432 (195 - 94 pins over average). The men’s high scores were Joe Winger 537 (188) and Jarrod Petrany 210.

In Marcin Wednesday Night Ladies League action, leading scores were Dawn Pelkie 600 (238-214), Cori Landon 220, Melissa Crowe 206, Janice McMillan 192, Kathryn Tetreault 184 and Diane Willemsen 182. In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League action, top scores were Barb Plant 466, Bev Rankin 460, Kathy Miller 445 (171), Pat Morrow 429 (167), Dianne Ross 220 and Ester Waybrant 186.

In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League activity, the women’s notable scores were Mary Bradburn 535 (222), Dianne Lumley 504 (206) and Sheri Wright 488 (184). The men’s high hurlers were Ken McLeod 482 (180), Tom Taylor 476 (183), Wayne Rankin 458 and Ralph Noyle 168. Team standings are Mighty Mud Slingers 58, Mud Wrestlers 53, Mud Puppies 50, Mud Hens 45, Mudders Team 43 and Muddy Waters 39.

In Marcin 1046 Mixed League play, the women’s top scores were Rachel McGrath 590 (225), Val Boult 512 (190), Dorothy Plain 466 and Kaye Brander 183. The men were led by Larry Plumb 640 (238), Todd Amerlinck 591 (204), James Belton 204, Derrick Walker 201 and Tyler Robertson 194. In Marcin Sarnia Reserve Mixed League play, the ladies’ best scores were Kathy Watters 454 (211), Cid Bearheart 223, Jo Ellen Beveridge 195 and Connie Milliken 171. The gentlemen’s main scores were Elgin George 596 (202-201), Wilson Plain 582 (202), Ted White 545 (209) and Darren Adams 536 (210).

In the Marcin SMAA Youth Senior/Intermediate division, the ladies’ upper scores were Rachel McGrath 547 (213), Kira Pelkie 442 (173) and Laura Kameka 398 (145). The gents’ top scores were Colin Hanley 457, Matt Disper 455 and PJ Loosemore 436 (170).

In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girls’ top rollers were Rachel Font-Young 360 (140), Caprice Hill 310 (116) and Abbey Yates-Strang 294 (113). The boys’ best bowlers were Ethan Boucher 453 (169), Patrick Cullis 413 (150), Jacob Bestard 361, Jarod Pelkie 358 (129) and Ryan Pinel 137.

In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, leading scores were Jordan Button 313 (107-106), Braeden Scott 224 (94), Noah Gauthier 180 (73), Noah Leclair 156 (64) and Mya Hanley 114 (43).
