Sarnia Saints Ladies Win Home Opener

The Sarnia Saints Ladies competed first on Saturday at the Clubs Home Opening weekend at Norm Perry Park.  The 2012 Championship team continued their winning streak and ran away taking with a 48 - 0 win over league newcomers Guelph Red Coats. 

"We have half and half split of girls returning this year." said New Head Coach Melisa McGuire  "Its exciting to get fresh legs out there."

 The Saints scored 8 tries and converted on 4 in the win.

"We were really excited to play.  I think it was a pretty good game overall we saw a lot of positive things and some things to work on which is always going to be the case, but a lot of positives for a new team working together." McGuire said

The Ladies are on the road on Saturday June 1 to face the Wilmot Warthogs.
