The Sarnia Braves Senior Men's team traveled to Windsor Friday night to go up against the Windsor Selects in Can Am Baseball league action and lost in extra innings by a score of 4 - 3.

The Braves had a 3 - 1 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh when the Selects batted in two runs to tie the game that sent the game into extra innings and in the eleventh inning the Selects scored the winning run.

Pitcher Wade Babula pitched 6 1/3 innings striking out 6 batters, with 3 runs, 6 hits and walked 2.  Mike Damchuck came in for 2 2/3 innings striking out 3 and walking 4.  Dom Bucci pitched for 2 innings with 2 strikeouts with 1 walk, 1 hit and 1 run.

The Braves had 0 Errors and 11 hits.  Batting for Sarnia were  Mike Damchuck with 2 doubles and a single, Alex McLean with 3 singles, and 2 singles by McKenzie Maxwell and Jim Sequin.

The Braves will host the Troy Jet Box at 2:00 pm at Errol Russell park and on Wednesday May 29 at home against Wyoming/Dresden at 7:30.
