
The Sarnia Braves Senior Men came from behind and defeated Tecumseh Thunder Juniors 3 - 2 in Can Am Men's Baseball League action at Errol Russell Park Wednesday night.
Tecumseh took a 2 - 0 lead in top of the third inning and the Braves answered back with two runs in the bottom of the third. In the sixth inning Cole Moriarity got on base on a single and Wade Babula RBI brought Moriarity in for the win.
Starting pitcher Dom Bucci went 5 1/3 innings striking out five, allowing two runs, three walks and one hit. Justin Stephenson relieved Bucci in the sixth allowing one hit with no runs or walks.. Mike Damchuk came in and earned the save allowing one hit no runs or walks.
The Braves are now 2 - 2 for the season and look to better their standing with a game on Friday May 17 in Techumseh against the Tecumseh Srs. On Sunday they return to Windsor for a double header against the Windsor Athletics.
