On Monday night the Sarnia FC U10 Red team played league rivals the Sarnia FC White team and took a 3 - 1 loss in Lambton Kent District Youth Soccer League action.

Sarnia Red would open the scoring off a Jacob Drapotoy goal fed by Matthew Gouveia. Sarnia FC White would rally in the dying minutes of the first half and both teams would head for the half time break tied 1-1.

There was strong defensive play by both teams throughout the second half and despite a couple of good chances up front FC Red could not find the net in the second half. White would score one more in a scramble near the net and then Red would pop one in their own net while attempting to clear a corner kick.

The Red Machine will be primed and firing on all cylinders for their game in Wallaceburg next week.
