On May 10 2013, St Christopher’s Secondary School student Caroline Hummell was named to the Ontario JUEL Sharpie All- Academic Team 2013.

The JUEL (Junior Elite League U19) is Canada’s only Provincial basketball league. There are 18 member franchises from all over Ontario.
 

Caroline was selected by a Sanford Canada committee (Sharpie) from over 200 provincial level athletes. Caroline won the prestigious honour based on her academic standing (95% in grade 11) and her ability to balance her school life and her sports life.

Several letters of recommendation were submitted to the Sanford Canada committee on her behalf by her coaches and teachers. Caroline thanks all the people that supported her in achieving this honour.
