Sarnia Braves Senior Men's Lost to the Stars

The Sarnia Braves hosted the Windsor Stars on Mother's Day in Can Am Senior Men's Baseball league action and took a 5 - 1 loss.
In the second inning both sides earned 1 run apiece. The Stars took a 1 run lead in the sixth inning and in the seventh batted in three runs to take the win.
Nick Baljeau got the start on the mound pitching for 4 innings. He struck out 1 allowed 1 run, 2 hits and 1 walk. Wade Babula went in for 2 2/3 innings striking out 1, allowing 3 hits and 3 walks. Randy Thingstad came in to close the game walking 1 and allowing 1 run.
Charlie Stubbs single brought the only run in for the Braves.
The Braves are now 1 - 2 for the season.
Next up the Braves will go up against Petrolia on Tuesday May 14th at the Blackwell Diamond for a Western Counties Exhibition Game starting at 7:30 pm. They are then back at home the next day when they host the Tecumseh Jr. at Errol Russell at 7:30 pm and then host the Tecumseh Sr. on Friday May 17th at 7:30pm
