Lambton Shores Predators Tie Series in Overtime

The Lambton Shores Predators defeated the Chatham Maroons 3-2 in overtime to tie the best of seven series 2 - 2 in Western Conference Jr B hockey quarter finals.

 

Kyle Brothers led the Predators by scoring the first goal mid way into the first period on a power play with Tanner Ferguson and Connor Annett assisting.

 

In the second Ryan Rotondi added the second goal at 4:59 assisted by ale Duberry and Kyler Keating.  Chatham first goal of the game came on a power play at 11:40 in the second by Thomas Eady.

 

Chatham fought back in the third and tied the game after scoring their second power play goal.  Score remained as regulation time ended sending the game into overtime. 

 

At 6:01 Kyle Brothers scored to give the Predators the win. Assisting on the win goal were Brett Thompson and Adam Arseneault.

 

Shots on goal were close with Chatham leading 37 - 36.

 

Chatham went two for five on power play opportunities, Lambton went one for six.

 

Brandon Campbell had another strong game in net stopping 35 of 37 shots.

 

The Predators will travel to Chatham on Thursday March 7 for game five.  Puck drop at 7:00 pm.
