Sarnia Legionnaires Lost in OT in game one of Playoffs Against Leamington

In a close battle, 7th place Sarnia Legionnaires lost 5 - 4 in overtime to 2nd place Leamington Flyers in game one in the quarter finals of the Greater Ontario Jr B Hockey League playoffs.
Derek D'Andrea score at 3:12 to give Sarnia the lead only to have Chris Lugosi of the Flyers score :37 seconds later to even the score. Leamington took the lead afer Myles Doan scored on a power play at 9:04. Jeff King tied the game once again after scoring a shorthanded goal at 14:17. Just over a minute later Dakota Olvin would regain the lead for the Flyers and the two teams headed into the second with the Flyers leading 3 - 2.
Second period action say Tony Spidalieri score the only goal in the period to give Leamington a 4 - 2.
Third period action saw D'Andrea score his second of the game on the powerplay at 4:29 and at 16:37 Matt Cimetta scored the tying goal.
In over time Tony Spidalieri scored his second of the game at 3:28 to give the Flyers the win.
Leamington outshot the Legionnaires 55 - 19.
Despite the loss Sean Parker was outstanding in net for the Legionnaires making a total of 50 saves, Matt Mancina earned the win with 15 saves.
The two teams are back in action on Saturday March 2 for game two of the best of seven series at the Sarnia Arena. Game time is at 7:10pm.
