The Sarnia Girls U11 soccer team coached by Tony Cossa and Paul Ritchie were Champions of the Middlesex United Invitational Tournament in Strathroy last weekend.

The girls battled hard, defeating teams from Middlesex United, Byron, and Wallaceburg, keeping their opponents off the scoresheet for all 4 games.

The shut-outs were shared by goalies Lauren Cossa and Mackenzie Hocking, and goals were scored by Kala Wagg, Abbie Williams, Hannah Thompson, and Sarah Sanders.

The team is also rounded out by Olivia DiCocco, Mya Ritchie, Mia Vanderheide, Lauren Murray, Erin Murray, Teagan Smink, Juliette Rossi, Mckenna Gardner, Annie Graham, Kendyl Shuart, McKenna Jackson, and Lindsey Barwitzki.
