At home on Wednesday night the Point Edward Pacers dropped a 15 - 13 decision to the Wallaceburg Red Devils in Ontario Jr B Lacrosse League action.

 

The Red Devils scored five goals in each period.  The Pacers scored three in the first, five in the second and four in the third.

 

Scoring for the Pacers were Connor Smith with three, Liam Wright, TJ Mara, Dan Charlton each scored two and singles by Austin Langs, Ryan Devine and AP Players Blain Adams and Tyler Smith.

 

Lucas Beaver led the Red Devils with five goals, Mike Myers scored four and Evan Mathany scored three.  Chris Taylor and AP players Corey Lucier and Brock Daugherty each scored singles.

 

Netminder Eric Shepley earned the win for the Red Devils with a total of 30 saves.  Ian Ferguson suffered the loss with  37 saves.

 

The Pacers are now 4 and 10 for the season with six games remaining.  On Saturday the Pacers will host Six Nations who currently are undefeated with 11 wins.  Game time begins at 7:00 pm at the Point Edward Arena.  On Sunday the Pacers travel to Hamilton for an afternoon game starting at 3:00 pm.  Hamilton is 1 and 12 for the season.
