Hockey season is just around the corner and Jr. C has begun.

On July 27th, the Wallaceburg Lakers held a camp at the Thames Campus with 36 skaters including vets, goalies and new prospects coming from Port Huron, Windsor, Mount Clements, Sarnia Chatham, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg. "The skaters looked good and were skating hard showing a lot of interest and eager to play" said Head Coach Kris Jacobs.

The Lakers will be holding another camp at the RBC Center in Sarnia. The date will be announced later.

League rivals Mooretown Flags recently announced their tryout/exhibition schedule with their first tryout date set for August 19 at the Moore Sports Complex.  (complete tryout/exhibition schedule below) The Flags first exhibition game is set for August 29th, team/time to be announced.  The Flags will also go up against the Wallaceburg Lakers in exhibition with the first exhibition game set between the two teams for September 4th in Wallaceburg then back in Mooretown on September 7th for game two.
