The Sarnia Senior Braves dropped a 9 - 7 decision to the Tecumseh Jrs. in Can Am League action on Tuesday night in Sarnia at Blackwell Diamond.

Tecumseh's five runs in the seventh inning sent the Jr's over the top as the Braves were leading 7 - 4 leading into the final inning.

Justin Stephenson pitched four inning allowed four hits,  one run, three walks and had three strike outs.  Anthony Shepherd pitched a single inning allowed one hit, two runs, one walk and had one strike out.  Also on the mound Jeff Jones allowed three hits, three runs and two walks. Mike Damchuk finished the game allowing, one hit, three runs and had one strikeout.

Sarnia had a total of eleven hits and three errors, Tecumseh had nine hits and four errors.

Alex McLean hit three singles in the game and Greg Sinclair had two.  Nick Baljeau hit a double and James Grant, McKenzie Maxwell, Justin Randall, Jeff Randall and Dom Bucci each hit singles.

Next up the Braves will host Corunna in Western Counties League action at 7:30 at Errol Russell.
