The Sarnia FC U10 White went 2 - 1 in tournament play.  In their first game they shut out Brantford Galaxy 1 - 0.  In their second they went up against Oakridge Thunder and lost 2 - 0.  Oakridge went on won the U10 division.

 

In their final game Sarnia went up against Windsor and took a 1 - 0 lead at the half.  Sarnia took a 2 - 0 lead after a beautiful cross out front that found Sarnia player alone to tip in. 

 

 

"It's always a good sign when our goalie doesn't have to touch the ball much and their goalie does." Head Coach Sue Tomback said "We had a really good offensive game, good passing, seeing space, talking on the field, just unlucky not to pot a few more."

 

 

Windsor lone goal came on a penalty shot late in the game.  The game ended with a final score of 2 - 1 in Sarnia's favour.

 

The Sarnia FC U10 currently are league leaders in the Lambton Kent District Youth Soccer league.

"They are really a hard working bunch of boys and great to work with and really fun." Tomback said "It's been a great season."
