Dave Warren Hired as Head Coach of Lambton Shores Predators

FOREST, ONT – The Lambton Shores Predators Jr. B Hockey team are happy to announce the signing of Dave Warren as their head coach for the 2013/2014 season.

 

For the past 11 seasons, Warren has worked with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) as their area scout and skills coach.  He also assisted on the bench during the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 seasons.

 

“Dave brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and coaching experience to our program,” Roop Chanderdat, Owner, President, and General Manager of Lambton Shores Predators said.  “As an organization we are excited for the season ahead and look to build on the progress we have made over the past couple of seasons.”

 

“We feel we are in a good position this season with a good foundation and core group of players to build upon.”

 

Warren, a retired City of London firefighter, has experience coaching at numerous levels of hockey from novice (minor hockey) to Major Junior A.  He has also worked with numerous hockey schools, clinics, and coaching seminars.

 

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to be a head coach once again,” Warren said.  “There is a good nucleus of player and veterans coming back such as Arseneault, Ferguson and Brothers that I am very much looking forward to coaching and working with.”

 

“I am confident about working with Roop (Chanderdat) and the rest of the staff to continue to continue growth of this organization.”

 

In terms of continuity from the 2011/2012 season, the Predators also announced that Warren will be surrounding by returning various staff members in different capacities including Chanderdat, Assistant General Manager and Player Personnel Director Ray Giffen, Assistant Coach Eric Collins, and the entire Predators training and equipment staff.  Further staff announcements are also expected to be made.
