
The Sarnia Imperials took a beating last
night at Norm Perry Park after taking a 72 - 6 loss against the Western
Division leaders (5-1)Sault Ste Marie Steelers in NFC Football league
action. The Steelers led 44 - 0 at the half. Steelers Rusher Josh
Gauthier was unstoppable as he ran a total of 309 yards and scored six
touchdowns.

The Imperials were held off
the scoreboard until the third quarter after Ricky Gorton threw a 58
yard touchdown pass to Kevin McMillan.. The Imperials were unable to
score on the two point conversion attempt.
The Imperials are in third
place in the Western Division (2-3). On Saturday July 13th at Norm
Perry Park the Imperials will host Durham (3-2) from the East Division.
Kick off is set for 7:00 pm.
