Steve Lewicki Tosses His Tenth 800 Triple

Bowling an 800 triple is extremely difficult to accomplish unless your name is Steve Lewicki. The smooth left handed bowler tossed his tenth 800 triple in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. He rolled 806 (247-269-290) on lanes 27 & 28. He has four sanctioned 800 triples in the CTF (Canadian Tenpin Federation) and six in the USBC (United States Bowling Congress). He also has 19 perfect games to his credit.

Pam Marciniszyn was the women’s high bowler once again for the fourth consecutive week. She almost tossed her fourth straight 700 series but finished six pins shy with 694 (218-248-228) in the Thursday Night Mixed League at Marcin Bowl.

In Marcin St. Joe’s Mixed League play, the women’s upper scores were Jocelyn VanEkeren 506 (187), Tonie Verbeek 505 (171) and Crystal Borody 451 (198). The men’s high scores were Mike Pevec 626 (244), Joe Winger 596 (205), Mike Woodall 215 and Albert Verbeek 205. In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League activity, the ladies noted scores were Mary Bradburn 492, Sheri Wright 488 (175-174) and Michelle Fraser 485 (186). The men’s top scores were Ken McLeod 549 (194), Bill Crumb 478 (190) and Albert Peters 468 (200). Team standings are Swamp People 24, The Biggest Winner 20, Survivors 16, Hell’s Kitchen 14, Courtright Idols 12 and Hogs Gone Wild 10.

In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League action, leading scores were Michelle Fraser 561 (201-182), Brenda Dennis 528 (191), Joy Timington 503 (181-183), Deb Jones 481 (193) Brenda Hawryluk 473 and Beth Scott 186. Team standings are Candy Kisses 47, Sugar Plum Fairies 39, Butterfinger Bowlers 39, Rockets 33, I Love Turtles 32, Sweet Tarts 31, Tutti-fruittis 21 and Gummy Bears 20.

In Marcin Ontario Hydro Mixed League fun, the women’s best scores were Barb Montgomery 526 (191), Barbara Heckley 514 (194), Alyssa Taylor 509, Kim Taylor 499 and Marilyn Mullen 484 (181).
