Twin Bridges U14 Volleyball Wins Gold

The Twin City Bridges U14 Girls travelled to London recently and won the Gold medal at the OVA Challenge Cup - Trillium.  The Sarnia team went undefeated with a 10 - 0 record.  The Team showed great teamwork with aggressive setting and powerful hitting and great passing skills.

In pool play Sarnia defeated the Warriors Blue (25-6, 25-13) and the Kitchener Predators (U13 25-14, 25-14.)  In the quarter finals Twin City defeated the Chatham Ballhawkes.  The first set was close with a final score of 26-24 and then went on and won the second set 25-14.

In the semi finals they went up against LVC Inferno and won 25-21 - 26-11 to earn them a spot in the final game where they went up against the Stratford Stingers and won both sets 25-15, 25-18 for the gold medal. 

The team is coached by Head Coach Barb Rigg-Garbaty with the U15 Girls Coach Kyle Martin assisting.  Team manager is Mandy Williams.
