The Sarnia team would open the scoring in the first period. Tori Iacobelli's accurate shot would find the net, at 8:25 of period one. Earning the assist would be Jadyn Clark. With some strong defensive play by both teams, the second period would be scoreless. Madi Gould had her chance on a breakaway, but was unable to beat the goalie.

In the third period, the Lady Sting would display their speed, skill, and determination. Taylor Coutts would bust in alone from center-ice, but would be denied. Lindsey Barwitzki powered her way to the net from the half boards, and fire a rocket past the Windsor goalie, only to be stopped by the crossbar.

In the neutral zone, Sydney Rogers would advance the puck to Peri Wilson, who broke in alone. Peri would bulge the twine at the 8:29 mark of the third. Also assisting on the play was Gus Lauwers. With less than a minute to play, Windsor would pull their goalie, and send out an extra skater. The strategy would backfire, as Tori Iacobelli would score easily into an empty net. Earning assists, was Jadyn Clark, and Hannah Thompson. Abbie Clouse would turn aside all Windsor shots, to take another shutout for her team. Lady Sting 3, Wildcats 0. The win, would potentially clinch the league title for this group of young hockey players.

Coach Chad Williams said the following, "we played with our original lines, on forward". "The team played well, and we had many shots on net". "The majority of the game was played in Windsors' zone". The Atom B team finish the season on the road, visiting Windsor, and London respectively
