LCCVI Lancers Boys Hockey Continue Win Streak

In LSSAA Boys hockey LCCVI Lancers continue their win streak with a 5 - 2 win over the North Lambton Eagles. Jon McGuire scored the first goal for the Lancers` at 2:21 with Ryan Atkinson earning the assist. Hunter Bryce scored the second at 13:08 from Mitch Meston and Taylor Oke to give LCCVI the 2 - 0 lead heading into the second.
The Lancers added to the lead with a goal at 7:31 in the second with Brandon Li scoring with Taylor Oke and Ryan Duncan picking up the assists. Hunter Bryce scored his second of the game from Brandon Li at 10:26 and at 12:15 Jon McGuire scored his second from Ryan Boyd and at that point LCCVI had a 5 - 0 lead. North Lambton continue to battle and at 14:56 Blair Ulrich assisted by Mason Cloud scored for the Eagles. Heading into the third LCCVI had a 5 - 1 lead.
In the third period North Lambton scored the final goal of the game at 1:32 with Ian VanEngland scoring from Ryan Bakker and Dalton Goodhill.
Jeremy Johnson earned the win in net for the Lancers.
LCCVI and SCITS are both undefeated (3-0) and share top spot in the standings race. Northern is 2 - 1, St. Pat's and North Lambton are both looking for their first win.
Three games are scheduled in the final week before the Holiday break. SCITS will host North Lambton at Sarnia Arena on Monday December 16. On Wednesday December 18 two games are set to be played at Clearwater Arena. Northern vs LCCVI and St. Pat's vs SCITS. Both games begin at 3:00 pm.
