The Sarnia Imperials laden with injuries ended their season Saturday night in Cambridge against the Tri-City Outlaws after losing 29-14 in the Divisional Semi Final.
Heading into the final game the Imperials and Tri-City shared wins with Tri-City taking A 37-31 win in the second week of the season and the Imperials took an 18-12 win two weeks ago in Sarnia.
In the other East Division semi-final game Sault Ste Marie defeated Sudbury 59 – 13. In the West Division Semi Finals Montreal blanked the Toronto Raiders by a score of 54 – 0 and Durham defeated Ottawa 35 – 28. Division Finals will be held on Saturday August 10th with Sault Ste Marie and Tri City competing for the West Division Title and Montreal and Durham fighting for East.
Winners from the Divisional finals will compete for the NFC championship to be held on August 17th.
