The Wallaceburg Laker's conducted their main camp Sunday August 25th, at the RBC Centre in Sarnia.

Ten Vets and twenty two prospects took to the ice to show their talent.

"I'm very pleased with the talent we have, and we also have a lot of young players who want to be Lakers. We are going to be a competitive team this season.  I am happy with what I see and looking forward to seeing some of the players in the exhibition games" said Head Coach Kris Jacobs.

Among the players signed, were Veteran's Lucais Meyskens and Scott Lubbers along with Rookie Mike Zottl, a Defenseman from Sarnia who will be the Laker's sixteen year old.

Jim McCrea G/M commented that he is quite pleased with the camp and the group of coaches. It all seems to be coming together due to the countless hours the coaching staff has put in since March recruiting new players.

The Laker's take to the ice to play there first exhibition game August 29th in Mooretown followed by a game  Sept.4 In Wallaceburg and then back to Mooretown Sept. 7th . The games are all 7:30 starts.
