The Sarnia Lady Jr Sting Novice C girls won their league championships which earned them a trip to the Provincials where they earned a Bronze Medal.
In their first game Sarnia lost to Gloucester in a close 1 - 0 game. The Girls came back strong in their second game and shut out Brampton 3 - 0 and in their third they took their second shut out win defeating West Humberland 6 - 0.
In the quarter final against the Belmont Blazers the two teams were scoreless after three periods of play and in double overtime Ali McLeallan assisted by Bella Di Muzio and Megan Putter to take the 1 - 0 win and advancing the team to the semi final.
In the semi final the girls battled hard but took a 2 - 1 loss against Woolwich. Despite the loss the team advanced them to the bronze medal game where they went up against the Gloucester Cumberland Stars and won with a final score of 1 - 0. Kate Walls scored her first career goal and the game winner to give the Lady Sting the bronze medal. Netminder Payton Leppington was solid in net earning four shut outs in the tournament.
