Lambton Shores Predators Win Home Opener in Shootout

The Predators took to the ice in Greater Ontario Junior B Hockey League action Saturday night winning their home opener 4-3 over the LaSalle Vipers in a shootout.

LaSalle took a 2 - 0 lead in the first period and neither side scored in the second.  The Predators were down 3 goals after LaSalle scored their third goal on the power play just :48 seconds into the period.   The Predators clawed their way back with two power play goals both by Adam Arseneault  assisted by Kyle Brothers and Connor Annett. Kyler Keating added the equalizer later in the period assisted by Brandon Butler and Nick Sproveiro to tie the game at three which remain to the end sending the game into a shootout to decide a winner.

The Predators outshot the Vipers 2 - 1 in shoot out with Austin Fetterly and Kyle Brothers scoring for the Predators. 

"We started out slow but ended very well. Brandon Campbell was strong in net and Kyle Brothers scored a great shoot out goal. I thought all the guys played hard" said Head Coach Mark Davis.

The Predators next home game is September 15th vs Strathroy Rockets at the Shores RC. 7:30 start.
