Canada won for third time in three games and with a win tomorrow over host South Korea will clinch a spot in Saturday's gold medal game at the IBAF 18U World Baseball Championships.  In this latest win Canada defeated Columbia 10 - 6 after nearly blowing a seven run lead.

On Wednesday Canada had defeated Panama 10 - 1  to advance to the 2^nd Round where only 6 teams remain in the hunt for a gold medal. Later the same day Canada edged out the USA 1 – 0 in 10 innings.
