The Sarnia
Jr. Sting
travelled to
London on
Monday night
to face the
London
Bandits
Black at
Nichols
Arena.
Sarnia had
not beaten
the Black
Bandits all
year and
were anxious
to change
their luck.
The Sting
would start
the game
relatively
strong but
it didn't
take long
for the refs
to start
blowing
their
whistle,
sending
Sting
players into
the penalty
box.
With London
enjoying a 5
on 3
powerplay,
the Bandits
would open
the scoring
when their
defenseman
wristed a
puck on net
which took a
deflection
eluding
Sarnia
goalie Ian
Stouth.

The penalty
trend would
continue as
Sarnia would
face 5
straight
disadvantages.
London would
score one
more goal in
the second
and two more
in the
third. A
valiant
effort was
set forth by
all Sting
players
however it
is very
difficult to
compete when
your playing
most of the
game
shorthanded.
Final Score
- Sarnia Jr.
Sting 0 -
London
Bandits
Black 4.
