Sarnia,

General
Manager
Jacques
Beaulieu
announced
this
afternoon
the
Sarnia
Sting
Hockey
Club has
acquired
goaltender
JP
Anderson
from the
Mississauga
St.
Michaels
Majors.
The
Sting
sent
Brandon
Maxwell,
Guelph’s
2nd
round
pick in
2012,
Niagara’s
2nd
round
pick in
2013,
Peterborough’s
2nd
round
pick in
2014 and
Sarnia’s
5th
round
pick in
2014.
Beaulieu
explains
his
thoughts
on the
transaction.
“JP is
an elite
goaltender
in our
league.
Last
year he
helped
guide
the
Majors
to an
OHL
final
and
Memorial
Cup
final
appearance.
In
acquiring
the
assets
we did
for
Brett
Ritchie
it was
important
to add
an
important
piece of
the
puzzle
in
return
with
those
assets.
In JP we
feel we
have
done
that.”
